The two children go to a candy shop, pick and mix their own delicious bag of sugary treats as their good friend, Mr. Kangaroo comes along for the adventure.
This piece is based on an old-ish childhood memory with my brother. (I say old-ish because we still do this.) I wanted to create illustrations that exude joy and embody lyricism. The story takes place on the streets and inside the candy shop, were vibrant sweets and treats take up the page.
