I wanted to create a lovable poodle character rarely seen in media before. Mostly, poodles are depicted as haughty dogs with pompoms perfectly styled for beauty pageants and snobbery. But did you know that that specific hairstyle was designed to allow these hunting dogs (yes, they were bred for hunting!) to move with agility in water and to also protect their joints from hypothermia? In recent years, East Asian communities have taken a great liking to the teddy bear hairstyles for poodles and I have a dear old poodle like that at home. So here is my Intergalactic Space Poodle, who loves to groom and is also a successful engineer, a team player and a big jokester .
