I had the honor of illustrating a page in Rebel Girls: PRIDE, the feature for Alok Vaid-Menon. Click here for his page on Rebel Girls along with the narrated story of this amazing artist. I wanted to capture Alok's bold, colourful fashion sensibilities as well as their poeticism. A beautifully funny and thought provoking public figure such as they deserved a page that leaps straight out of the book and is unapologetically FUN!
As they say: "It doesn't matter where I end up what matters is that I was the truest version of myself along the way."
